About me

I am a designer, illustrator and printmaker, based in Brighton, in the UK.

By day, I work as a Giftware and Accessories designer, specialising in illustration. I am experienced in producing trend-focused gifts and accessories for international markets, delivering projects from concept to production, including oversees buying trips and negotiating with suppliers. In addition to which, I have experience of working with licensed artwork for Apple Corps, Moomin Characters and The Frida Kahlo Foundation. I am skilled at producing supporting materials including trend research, branding, packaging designs, exhibition graphics and supporting web assets.

By night, I continue to explore my design practice by working on stationery designs and commissions for small businesses. I actively pursue my interest in printmaking and I find that working with traditional techniques provides a tonic to the digital nature of my working life.

I studied Graphic Design at UCCA, graduating with a 1st Class Honours. During this time, I focused on documentary work, specifically depicting areas of the Lower Lea Valley in London, which were redeveloped for the 2012 Olympics. I have since achieved a Masters Degree at Brighton University, specialising in Sequential Design & Illustration. My research focused toward how individuals respond to and recover from personal adversity. The outcome was a series of interactive books designed as tools to encourage self-reflection.

I am passionate about the details and working in a capacity that allows me to develop high quality products. I would ideally like to progress my career by combining these skills in an environment which has innovation and sustainability at the core of it's ethos.
